DUMBO renter guide

Bridgeview Dumbo - 69 Adams St.

A 2024 high-rise beside the Manhattan Bridge approach, with fast subway access and a big amenity package. Views can be excellent. Train and bridge noise are the questions to answer in the actual unit.

What it is actually like

Bridgeview is a modern rental: central air, elevators, laundry, gym, roof deck, coworking, screening and party rooms, plus a children’s playroom. Some units have in-unit laundry or outdoor space, but those features are not universal. Bay windows and high-floor exposures are a major part of the appeal.

The neighborhood

You are on the residential edge of DUMBO, close to Brooklyn Bridge Park, the waterfront and the shops around Old Fulton and Washington streets. York Street is extremely convenient. It is also a busy, noisy piece of the neighborhood under and beside bridge infrastructure.

Getting around

The F at York Street is the easiest daily train. High Street A/C is also nearby, with the ferry and Borough Hall lines farther west. Check your route at night and on weekends: York Street has one entrance and the F is your closest default.

Our take

Strong for renters who prize DUMBO access, new construction and amenities. The right unit can be very different from the wrong line, so compare exposure and noise before price concessions.
